Job summary

Walman Optical in Lewiston, Minnesota is seeking an Associate Technician to set up, operate, and maintain equipment in the lab production process. You will perform production tasks, interpret Rx work tickets, and ensure proper calibration and safety compliance in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, training, and adherence to company policies, with responsibilities to maintain a neat work area and support colleagues as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask, orientation to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tasks of area production machine functions.
• Interpretation of Rx work ticket.
• Perform production operations on specified equipment in accordance with established procedures.
• Perform basic/routine maintenance of assigned equipment.
• Troubleshoot mal-functioning equipment and advise supervisor as to possible remedy.
