Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is hiring an Associate Technician to join our Kent lab. The role focuses on set-up, operation and basic maintenance of production equipment for lens finishing stages.

You will interpret Rx work tickets, run equipment per procedures, and support calibration and daily cleanup tasks. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, basic math, and capacity to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Interpret Rx work tickets and operate production equipment per procedures.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibrations on lab equipment.
• Troubleshoot equipment and advise supervisor on remedies.
• Prepare solutions and ensure supplies for lens production.
• Maintain neat, safe work areas and follow safety rules.
