Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Associate Technician for the lens lab. The role covers setup, operation, and basic maintenance of lab equipment in surface or finish sections of production.

You will follow procedures, interpret Rx work tickets, and support daily production tasks to ensure quality and timely results. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, strong multitasking and detail orientation, and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, orientation to detail and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate production equipment in the lab.
• Interpret Rx work ticket and perform production operations.
• Perform basic maintenance and troubleshoot equipment.
• Maintain clean and organized work area.
• Train less experienced employees and provide guidance.
• Assist in daily production tasks and ensure safety compliance.
