Job summary

Walman Optical is seeking an Associate Technician to set up, operate, and maintain lab equipment in the surface or finish portions of production. You will interpret Rx work tickets, perform production operations, and conduct routine maintenance while adhering to safety rules. You may train junior staff and assist teammates to keep production on schedule.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Ability to multitask, attention to detail and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and perform basic maintenance of equipment in the lab production area.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production operations per procedures.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and advise supervisor on remedies.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced colleagues as needed.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and comply with safety rules.
