Job summary

Walman Optical in Kent, WA is seeking a Production Technician to set up, operate and maintain lab equipment in the surface or finish area. You will work with Lensometer instruments for lens inspections and assist with calibration and maintenance tasks.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years of laboratory work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented, fast-paced environment.
• Basic math skills expected at high school level.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities including close and color vision.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of laboratory production in the designated area.
• Use Lensometer for lens inspection per basic power requirements.
• Maintain and troubleshoot equipment; assist supervisor with issues.
• Interpret Rx requirements and translate into finished products.
• Calibrate equipment daily/weekly and maintain logs.
