Job summary

Walman Optical, a division of EssilorLuxottica, is seeking an Associate Technician to operate and maintain lab equipment in surface or finish areas. You will interpret Rx work tickets, set up production, calibrate machines and ensure a clean, safe work environment.

Responsibilities include equipment setup, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and training less experienced staff while adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to multi-task, detail-oriented and able to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic high school level math skills required.
• Ability to lift/move up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Set up, operate and maintain equipment in surface/finish areas of lab production.
• Interpret Rx work tickets and perform production operations per procedures.
• Calibrate equipment daily and weekly as directed by supervisor.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Provide training and guidance to less experienced staff as needed.
