Job summary

EyeCare Partners is seeking an Optical Technician/ Front Desk to deliver a world class Total Patient Experience while driving retail sales and supporting patients' medical needs. You will dispense and fit glasses and contacts under optometrist/ophthalmologist prescriptions and connect patients with the right products and services.

The role is cross trained, requiring patient interaction, frame selection, and precise measurements, with emphasis on accurate lens and frame recommendations and

Qualifications

• At least 1 year in a customer-facing role (patients or customers).
• Medical office or ophthalmic experience preferred.
• Background check must be clear as required by state.
• Must provide proof of identity and right to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Total Patient Experience and medical support.
• Assist patients in selecting frames based on prescriptions and facial measurements.
• Operate auto-lensometer and manual lensometer.
• Educate and recommend lenses, coatings, and frames to suit patient needs.
• Take measurements such as bridge width, eye size, temple length, seg heights, vertex distance, PD, and pantoscopic tilt.
• Dispense orders and repair/adjust frames as needed.
• Dispense glasses and/or contacts per current process.
