Job summary

Now Optics d/b/a Stanton Optical in Midland, TX, is seeking a Clinical Services Manager who will supervise the store team and support clinical goals under the Clinical Operations Department. You will also often act as the Manager on Duty to help achieve store goals and support operational and sales targets.

The role requires at least 1 year of retail leadership, an associate degree, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year retail management or clinical leadership experience.
• Associate degree or advanced certification or currently enrolled.
• Strong communication and ability to work in a fast-paced team.
• Passion for customer/patient care and willingness to mentor others.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing business and schedules.
• Knowledge of MS Word and Google Docs.
• Optical or clinical experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, identify needs, and explain products and services.
• Drive sales to meet revenue goals while delivering outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues and train the team on troubleshooting techniques.
• Supervise Doctor Technicians on pre-testing, local mode, and digital refraction.
• Ensure training guidelines and clinical standards are executed.
• Maintain accurate patient records with HIPAA compliance.
• Ensure store brand standards with housekeeping and presentation.
• Coach Doctor Technicians and cross-trained staff on lens insertion/removal.
• Oversee contact lens orders and diagnostic lens inventory weekly.
