Job summary

Stanton Optical, part of Now Optics, is seeking an energetic Doctor’s Technician to deliver outstanding customer service and support a seamless flow between clinical services and retail teams. You will greet patients, assist with exams and product selection, and ensure accurate, timely eyeglass processing.

The role emphasizes patient-first service, teamwork, and a proactive approach to resolving issues while contributing to a positive in-store experience.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or advanced certification beyond high school, or currently enrolled in a comparable program.
• 2+ years of experience delivering outstanding customer service to patients and/or customers.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse group of people.
• Ability to listen actively, build rapport, and empathize with patients.
• Proactive problem solving and teamwork to meet patient needs.
• Collaborative spirit with the team and customers.
• Results-driven, multitasking, and flexible with changing business needs.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and customers entering the store and identify needs to ensure a memorable experience while promoting available products and services.
• Foster a strong partnership between the retail team and professional services.
• Schedule and confirm appointments; enter patient history and information; perform pre-tests and eye tests where applicable.
• Assist management with patient complaints and keep informed on status of all jobs; ensure patient expectations are met.
• Maintain brand standards through housekeeping and lab area organization; notify management of issues.
• Process orders, assemble lenses into frames, edge stock lenses, and ensure timely delivery.
• Keep track of delivery times to guarantee 100% patient satisfaction and on-time completion.
