Job summary

Sam's Club in Jefferson City, MO is seeking an Optical Associate, Non-Certified to join our Optical department. You will stock, price, and present products while handling member purchases and optional eye-care services.

The role requires educating members and supporting lab communications under supervision. Responsibilities include measuring PD, assisting with frame and lens work, and ensuring compliance with store policies.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent to sit for ABO exam (as applicable).
• Willingness to obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Experience in retail or healthcare settings is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist members with eyewear purchases, measurements, and frame adjustments.
• Process optical eyewear and contact lens orders and payments using the POS system.
• Stock and maintain the Optical area and ensure proper pricing and organization.
• Educate members on eyewear usage and care and support related services.
