Job summary

Sam's Club in Secaucus, NJ is seeking an Optical Associate to maintain merchandise presentation in the Optical area and assist members with eyewear decisions, prescriptions and repairs.

You will stock, price, and sign merchandise, process sales, handle claims, returns, and invoices, and support OD services under supervision. Training and licensure requirements apply where required by state boards.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a health care or retail setting.

Responsibilities

• Stock and organize Optical area displays and inventory.
• Process member purchases, payments, returns and exchanges at the POS.
• Assist with eyewear orders, measurements and lens/prescription verification.
• Educate members on eyewear usage, care and contact lens handling.
