Job summary

Sam's Club in Saint Louis, MO is seeking an Optical Associate, Non-Certified to join the Optical area. The role involves stocking, merchandising, customer assistance, and processing eyewear and contact lens orders.

Responsibilities include measuring pupillary distance, assisting with frame repairs, and coordinating with labs and optometrists. Eligible associates may access benefits and training programs offered by Walmart/Sam's Club.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent upon job entry or within 12 months of hire to sit for ABO exam.
• Must obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire or job entry.
• State board licensure/apprenticeship requirements must be met where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Maintains merchandise presentation and organizes displays in Optical area.
• Educates members on eyewear usage and assists with frame/lens fitting and orders.
• Receives, audits, and maintains hearing aid inventory and processes sales via POS.
• Processes insurance claims and payments for doctor services where applicable.
