Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent upon job entry or within 12 months of hire in order to sit for American Board of Opticianry (ABO) exam.
• Meet the requirements to work as an Optical associate (state rules may apply).

Responsibilities

• Maintains merchandise presentation by stocking merchandise and organizing displays.
• Educates members on eyewear usage and care and assists with frame and lens adjustments and repairs.
• Processes optical eyewear and contact lens orders, and handles payments and refunds.
• Performs pre-testing and records results under guidance of an optometrist, and supports OD services.
