Job summary

Sam's Club in Lewisville, TX is seeking an Optical Associate to stock and maintain the Optical area while assisting members with purchases and repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
• Willingness to obtain ABO certification within 15 months of hire.
• Must meet state requirements to become apprentice/licensed optician within stated timelines.
• Experience in optical retail is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Stock eyewear and maintain the Optical area per policy.
• Assist members with eyewear purchases and frame adjustments.
• Measure pupillary distance and verify prescriptions.
• Process optical orders and manage insurance claims.
• Support OD services and patient appointments.
• Operate POS and handle payments/returns.
