Job summary

Carvana is seeking an experienced Lead Recruiter for its Reconditioning Talent Acquisition team, based on-site at our Carmel, IN HQ. You will own full-cycle recruitment for site leadership and hourly roles, mentor 1–2 recruiters, and partner with Recon leaders to forecast staffing needs and build proactive talent pipelines.

You will advise on hiring strategy, manage the pre-hire process, and drive metrics to improve time-to-fill and quality of hire, contributing to Carvana's high-performance

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience, including 2+ years in high-volume or hourly hiring.
• 1+ years of experience leading, mentoring, or managing others.
• Experience staffing a broad spectrum of roles including leadership.
• Experience sourcing talent across multiple channels.
• Experience working with an ATS, preferably Greenhouse.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned Reconditioning sites and hourly roles.
• Lead, coach, and develop 1-2 recruiters and set development plans.
• Act as strategic talent advisor to Recon leaders and forecast staffing needs.
• Build proactive pipelines through multi-channel sourcing and partnerships.
• Guide hiring managers on assessment, interview structure, and offers.
