Job summary

Carvana is seeking a seasoned Lead Recruiter for our Reconditioning Talent Acquisition team at our Atlanta HQ. You will manage full-cycle recruiting for site leadership and hourly roles, coach a small team, and shape hiring plans using local market data.

As a strategic partner to Recon leaders, you’ll build proactive pipelines, optimize candidate experience, and drive key TA metrics. This on-site role offers strong growth in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
• 2+ years in high-volume or hourly hiring.
• 1+ years leading or mentoring recruiters.
• Experience recruiting for leadership and staff roles.
• Experience with ATS, preferably Greenhouse.

Responsibilities

• Own full-cycle recruitment for assigned Reconditioning sites, from intake to start date.
• Lead, coach, and develop 1-2 recruiters; set goals and provide feedback.
• Advise Recon leaders on hiring strategy and pipeline planning.
• Build multi-channel pipelines with referrals, partnerships, and events.
• Guide hiring managers on assessment, interviews, and offers; fill leadership roles.
• Manage workload across team and sites; decide ownership of searches.
• Deliver strong candidate experience and manage pre-hire process (background checks).
• Own recruiting metrics and report trends to TA leadership.
• Raise the bar for Ops TA and pilot process improvements.
• Collaborate with Talent Development, HR Ops, and Ops leadership.
