Job summary

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience required in package handling or supervisory in fast-paced environments.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses towards a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All Culture and initiatives.
• Manage hiring, terminations, coaching, training, performance evaluation and staff productivity.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage employees for safe, efficient sortation of packages; coordinate with linehaul as needed.
• Analyze operational performance and implement improvements to metrics.
• Lead daily staff meetings and communicate updates and daily goals.
• Develop and administer employee relations and safety strategies.
• Investigate and resolve customer service issues as appropriate.
• Train new employees on duties and FXG policies, safety and QA requirements.
• Mentor and develop junior Supervisors; adapt to changing business needs.
