Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking a frontline Operations Supervisor to manage day-to-day package sortation and a staff of Package Handlers. You will champion the Safety Above All culture and ensure compliance with FedEx policies and regulations.

Responsibilities include hiring and coaching, directing operations, and driving performance improvements while maintaining strong communication with teams and leaders across the hub. This role requires leadership, safety focus, and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling, fast-paced environment, or supervisory roles.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college toward a degree.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily operations and assigned staff.
• Hire, coach, train, and evaluate staff performance.
• Ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages.
• Manage staff to minimize costs and maximize quality.
• Analyze performance data and implement improvements.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate operational updates.
