Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks an Operations Supervisor to champion the Safety Above All Culture and oversee day-to-day operations and an assigned staff. You’ll manage the safe and efficient sortation of packages, supervise staff, and ensure adherence to FedEx policies and government regulations.

You will hire, coach, train and evaluate performance; lead daily planning meetings, mentor junior supervisors, and drive continuous improvement in key metrics.

Qualifications

• Six (6) months experience required in package handling or supervisory roles.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college towards a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Hire, coach, train, recognize staff; evaluate performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Ensure safe, efficient sortation of packages and manage related assets.
• Mentor and develop Operations Supervisors; adapt to changing needs.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates to staff.
