Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to support the Safety Above All culture and oversee day-to-day package sortation with a assigned staff. You will manage both frontline and administrative employees, ensuring compliance with FedEx policies and government regulations while driving safety and efficiency in the facility.

The role emphasizes coaching, performance management, and leadership of daily operations, with focus on achieving quality metrics and cost control.

Qualifications

• Six months experience in package handler or supervisory roles.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or associate degree in related area or 2+ years of college.
• Bachelor's Degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hire, terminate, coach, train, recognize and evaluate staff performance.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff to ensure safe, efficient sortation and accurate trailer movement.
• Lead meetings and communicate daily goals and updates to teams.
• Develop and administer safety and employee relations programs.
