Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead day-to-day package sortation and a assigned staff while upholding the Safety Above All Culture. You will hire, coach, train, evaluate performance, and enforce FedEx policies with a focus on safety, efficiency, and compliance.

The role requires a high school diploma (Bachelor's preferred), at least six months in a related role, strong leadership and communication, and the ability to mentor others.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Six months experience in a package-handling or supervisory role.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead staff, hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and performance evaluation.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Ensure safe, efficient sortation and manage trailers with the linehaul team where applicable.
• Analyze performance, identify improvements, and execute action plans.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates to staff and groups.
• Mentor staff and adapt to changing business needs while upholding FXG policies.
