Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks an Operations Supervisor to lead daily package sortation and manage a dedicated staff of handlers and administrative personnel. You will ensure safety and efficiency in operations and uphold the Safety Above All Culture.

You will hire, coach, train, and evaluate employees, coordinate staffing, and enforce FedEx policies and safety programs while driving performance metrics and cost control across the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Six months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.
• Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations and staff scheduling.
• Hire, coach, train, and evaluate staff performance.
• Ensure safe, efficient sortation and adherence to FedEx policies.
• Communicate goals and progress in regular meetings.
• Manage safety programs and incident reporting as needed.
