Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree or 2+ years of college toward a degree.
• Bachelor's Degree (preferred).
• Six (6) months experience in package handling or supervisory roles.

Responsibilities

• Champion FedEx Safety Above All Culture and support related initiatives.
• Manage hiring, coaching, training, recognition and performance evaluations.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Assign and manage staff for safe, efficient sortation of packages.
• Analyze performance and drive improvements to key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings and communicate updates and goals.
• Develop employee relations and safety programs.
• Address customer service issues and escalate as needed.
• Train new employees on duties and FXG policies, safety, and QA.
• Mentor staff and adapt to changing business needs.
