Job summary

FedEx Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to oversee daily operations and a assigned staff, ensuring safe and efficient package sortation, and compliance with FedEx policies and regulations.

The role requires leadership, coaching, training, and the ability to analyze performance data, conduct meetings, and mentor junior supervisors. Evening shift, full-time, 30 hours per week; pay range $24.75-$38.43 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• In lieu of experience, certification program or Associate's Degree in related area or 2+ years of college courses towards a degree.
• Six months experience in package handling/supervision or related roles.
• Ability to inspire a shared vision and empower a team.

Responsibilities

• Hire, terminate, coach, train, recognize and evaluate staff.
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations.
• Oversee safe and efficient sortation of packages and manage trailers with related departments.
• Analyze performance data and drive improvements to key metrics.
• Lead daily meetings to communicate goals and updates to staff.
• Train new employees on processes, safety and FXG policies.
