Job summary

FedEx Logistics seeks an Operations Supervisor to manage a shift of package handlers, ensuring safe, efficient sortation and regulatory compliance. You will oversee staffing, coach and train the team, and uphold the Safety Above All culture in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires strong leadership, communication skills and the ability to drive performance in line with FedEx policies. Overnight/ Sunrise shifts may apply, with opportunities for advancement within operations.

Qualifications

• Six months experience as a package handler or in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• In lieu of experience, an Associate's degree or 2+ years of college coursework may be considered

Responsibilities

• Supervise and develop assigned staff, including coaching, training and performance management
• Plan, organize, staff, direct and control day-to-day operations
• Ensure safe and efficient sortation of packages and adherence to FXG policies and regulatory requirements
• Lead daily briefings, communicate updates and performance goals to the team
