Job summary

QVC Group is seeking an Area Manager, Operations Planning to develop staffing schedules for distribution operations and lead a team of scheduling specialists at our Ontario, CA fulfillment center. This role centers on building base, seasonal, flex, and overtime plans aligned with the 21-day forecast and working with forecasting to adjust the staff plan.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with 1+ years of scheduling and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Analytical experience with scheduling (1+ years).
Operational experience related to site activity; workflow understanding.

Responsibilities

Develop staff schedules for all distribution functions based on the staffing plan.
Identify base, seasonal, flex, and overtime needs for direct and indirect positions.
Conduct schedule preference bids aligned with base scheduling requirements.
Develop computer-based models for staffing and operations to maximize production.
Collaborate with forecasting and analysis groups and communicate deviations to the staff plan/forecast.
Lead the Operations Planning Support Specialists in timecard reconciliation and site scheduling.
