QVC Group, Inc. in Florence, SC is seeking an Operations Planning Area Manager to develop staffing schedules for distribution, lead the Operations Planning Support Specialists, and partner with site management to balance workload with forecasted demand.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
Analytical experience required with 1+ years scheduling experience.
Operational experience associated with the site activity to include an understanding of workflow processing with 1-year experience.
Working knowledge of Excel is required.
Background in staff planning and forecast development.

Responsibilities

Develop staffing schedules for distribution functions based on the 21 day plan.
Identify base, seasonal, flex, and overtime needs for all positions.
Conduct employee schedule preference bids consistent with base requirements.
Develop computer-based models for staffing and operations to maximize production.
Communicate deviations to the staff plan/forecast with forecasting group.
Lead the Operations Planning Support Specialists in timecard reconciliation and scheduling duties.
