Job summary

QVC Group is seeking an Operations Planning Area Manager in Bethlehem, PA to design staffing for distribution functions using the 21-day plan. The role leads onsite planning staff and reports to the Scheduling Manager.

You will collaborate with site management and forecasting to develop models, identify base and overtime needs, and optimize timecard and scheduling administration across shifts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
• Analytical experience with scheduling fundamentals.
• Operational experience related to site activities (1 year).
• Working knowledge of Excel required.
• Background in staff planning and forecast development.

Responsibilities

• Develop staff schedules with site management and forecasting teams.
• Identify base, seasonal, and overtime staffing needs for all roles.
• Manage schedule preference bids aligned with base requirements.
• Create computer-based models for staffing and operations to maximize production.
• Coordinate with forecasting to communicate assumptions and deviations.
• Lead scheduling support staff in timecard reconciliation and admin duties.
