Job summary

QVC Group is seeking an Operations Planning Area Manager to lead staffing schedules for distribution functions at our Bethlehem, PA site. You will oversee onsite Planning Specialists and coordinate with the Scheduling Manager to align resources with the 21-day plan.

You will develop models to maximize production, manage base, seasonal, and overtime needs, and work with corporate analysts on plan deviations. This role requires analytical rigor and strong coordination across teams.

Qualifications

• Analytical aptitude and planning experience in operations.
• Scheduling experience of 1+ years within complex environments.
• Working knowledge of Excel and data analysis tools required.
• Background in staff planning and forecast development highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Develop all operations staff schedules based on the staffing plan with site and corporate teams.
• Identify base, seasonal, flex, and overtime needs for all positions.
• Conduct employee schedule preference bids aligned with base requirements.
• Develop computer-based models for staffing and operations to maximize production.
• Coordinate with forecasting and analysis teams on plan deviations and absenteeism.
• Lead the Operations Planning Support Specialists in timecard reconciliation and scheduling duties.
