Job summary

QVC Group, Inc. in Florence, SC is seeking an Operations Planning Area Manager to build and manage staffing schedules for distribution functions, guiding onsite specialists and assistants under the Scheduling Manager. The role requires analyzing needs and developing models to maximize production while coordinating with forecasting teams.

Experience with scheduling, operations, and Excel is essential. The position is onsite at the Florence fulfillment center, with relocation assistance available

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
• Analytical experience required with 1+ years scheduling experience.
• Operational experience associated with the site activity to include an understanding of workflow processing with 1-year experience.
• Working knowledge of Excel is required
• Background in staff planning and forecast development

Responsibilities

• Develop staff schedules with site management and analytics teams based on staffing plans.
• Identify base, seasonal, flex, and overtime needs for all positions.
• Conduct employee schedule preference bids consistent with base requirements.
• Develop computer-based models for staffing and operations to maximize production.
• Communicate forecast deviations to the staff plan/forecast (absenteeism, vacations, meetings).
• Lead the Operations Planning Support Specialists in managing timecard reconciliation and scheduling-related duties.
