Job summary

Riverstone Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager to support the General Manager, optimize labor efficiency, and improve site performance. You will supervise the client-based operation, lead the team, and drive Lean initiatives in a warehouse setting.

The role focuses on sustaining client relationships, managing dispatch and transport, and ensuring compliance with company standards while developing direct reports and maintaining a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of warehouse/distribution/supply chain ops preferred, with at least 1 year of supervisory exp.
• Exposure to Lean principles, systems, and tools.
• Must have reliable transportation to commute and travel to client sites as needed.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in meeting/exceeding client service goals.
• Train, onboard and mentor Extra Milers to uphold company culture and standards.
• Oversee operations and ensure objectives are met.
• Act as Location’s point of contact when GM is absent.
• Implement and maintain Lean warehouse principles where applicable.
• Enforce company compliance standards across the operation.
• Maintain professional appearance and lead by example.
• Schedule and coordinate third-party transportation services as needed.
• Manage dispatching, routing and tracking of transportation.
• Foster open, positive team communication and strong provider relationships.
• Communicate daily/shift goals; develop plans to achieve them and adjust as needed.
• Represent the company in client relations and ongoing contracts.
