Job summary

Riverstone Logistics is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead routing, dispatch, and client delivery objectives at a local profit center. You will guide a team of Operations Coordinators, monitor motor carrier performance, and provide coaching to maximize site performance.

The role emphasizes proactive issue resolution, feedback to carriers, and maintaining high standards of service while working mainly in an office/warehouse environment. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or equivalent not required; HS diploma accepted.
• Strong people and operations supervisory experience is essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships.
• Ability to adapt to fast-paced operations and changes.
• Willingness to embrace new technology and processes.
• Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, including monitoring loadout, delivery activity, and carrier needs.
• Ensure timely reporting of loadouts, returns, and carrier compliance per client standards.
• Maintain professional relationships with location management, carriers, and client staff.
• Supervise route monitoring and the check-in process for reschedules with carriers.
• Process and monitor returns via client portal at participating locations.
• Move inventory safely using material handling equipment when needed.
• Serve as main contact for client escalations and coordinate delivery windows.
• Perform additional duties as required by client requirements.
