Job summary

Riverstone Logistics is seeking an Operations Manager, Warehouse to support the General Manager in delivering efficient warehouse operations at a client location. The role focuses on implementing location policies, conducting analyses, and driving client satisfaction while maximizing site performance.

You will lead a team, enforce safety and compliance, and collaborate with service providers and customers to meet daily objectives. Strong leadership and lean principles are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Two years or more of warehouse experience required.
• Must have people management experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written form with customers, employees, peers and management.
• Work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse and ensure daily objectives are met.
• Maintain Lean Six Sigma throughout the warehouse.
• Enforce company compliance standards.
• Foster open and positive team communication.
• Build rapport with service providers and clients.
• Communicate daily goals of the facility and implement plans to achieve them.
• Enforce location safety management plans.
• Delegate and direct the work of the warehouse team.
• Manage a team of direct reports (attendance, performance, coaching).
• Interview, train, and select employees.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
