Job summary

Tufts Medicine seeks a senior education program administrator to design and deliver postgraduate medical education. You will oversee residency and fellowship processes, coordinate lectures, and manage accreditation reporting across multiple hospitals.

The role requires navigating complex regulatory environments and ensuring program integrity, with emphasis on quality education for residents and medical students.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Education, Liberal Arts, or related field with 5 years of experience in a similar setting OR High School diploma or equivalent with 9 years of related experience.
• Preferred: seven years of experience in a similar setting.
• Experience coordinating residency and fellowship programs and regulatory compliance (RRC, ACGME, ECFMG, and Tufts Medicine policies).

Responsibilities

• Directs residency and fellowship program applications and screening.
• Manages Education Office as primary contact for applicants and students.
• Coordinates departmental educational lecture series and selects speakers.
• Prepares orientation for new residents and ensures academic standards.
• Oversees annual RRC reporting and site visits across affiliated hospitals.
• Ensures appropriate visas, licensure, and malpractice insurance for residents and fellows.
• Supports mentoring and learner feedback programs.
