Retina Institute of Virginia is seeking a Clinic Supervisor to lead a patient-focused ophthalmology team in Richmond and to travel to satellite locations as needed. The role emphasizes operational excellence, staff development and HIPAA compliance.

You will oversee scheduling, training, reporting, and process improvements to increase efficiency and profitability while collaborating with clinic leadership to deliver exceptional patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two years of healthcare management experience preferred.
• Demonstrates initiative, reliability and a team-focused approach in a clinical setting.
• Ability to manage cross-location workflow and employee relations while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day clinic operations, including scheduling, meetings, reporting, inventory and training.
• Guide optical equipment usage, medical chart handling, insurance, billing and patient policies.
• Prepare operational reports to direct team actions and improve performance and profitability.
• Lead and coach staff to deliver world-class patient experience and maintain compliance.
• Collaborate with Clinic Manager and HR on recruitment and employee relations; coordinate with other clinics.
