Job summary

Ascend Vision Partners/Sylvester Eye Care is seeking a Practice Supervisor to oversee day-to-day ophthalmology clinic operations and manage a team of clinical and non-clinical staff. The role ensures high-quality patient care, training, and adherence to clinical standards while coordinating with physicians and leadership to optimize workflow and patient experience.

The position focuses on improving operations, developing work plans and resource schedules, and driving performance improvement

Qualifications

• Must have strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Experience managing healthcare operations or administrator roles.
• Comfort with analyzing workflow and implementing process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and coordinates the daily operations of the ophthalmology clinic.
• Leads and trains clinical and non-clinical staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Manages patient flow, scheduling, intake, testing procedures, and documentation.
• Educates staff on protocols and maintains compliance with clinical standards.
• Serves as liaison between providers, technicians and patients to ensure satisfaction.
• Reviews and updates clinical procedures and identifies efficiency opportunities.
