Job summary

Ascend Vision in Oklahoma City is seeking a Practice Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operations of the ophthalmology clinic, manage a team of clinical and non-clinical staff, and ensure high-quality patient care.

You will train personnel, monitor performance, maintain compliance with clinical standards and protocols, coordinate with physicians and leadership to optimize clinic flow, and drive performance improvement projects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of three (3) years of prior healthcare operations, analyst and/or administrator experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, health care administration or related field, preferred.
• Minimum of three (3) years of clinical ophthalmology experience as a technician.
• Certified Ophthalmic Technician, Scribe or Assistant (COT, COS, COA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the assigned ophthalmology clinic, managing a team of clinical and non-clinical staff.
• Ensure adherence to established standards, protocols and quality standards.
• Manage clinical flow, including scheduling, patient intake, and testing procedures.
