Merck is seeking a National Leader of the Ophthalmology Account Management Team in the United States to lead a field team of Account Directors and Key Account Managers, driving strategic partnerships with retina practices and large ophthalmology networks.

You will shape the franchise strategy, oversee cross-functional engagement, mentor talent, and report to the US Franchise Leader of Ophthalmology, contributing to patient access and market leadership in a high-growth environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required
• MBA or advanced degree preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead Ophthalmology Account Management Team with National Account Directors and Key Account Managers
• Shape strategic direction for the Ophthalmology franchise within the US
• Provide insights and counsel to senior leadership on key engagements
• Oversee executive sponsorship for major accounts with C-suite stakeholders
• Coach and mentor field teams to build a culture of accountability
• Coordinate cross-functional execution across SAMs, BEMs, Field Sales, Field Reimbursement and Medical
• Drive launch excellence and market shaping through resource optimization
