Job summary

Merck is seeking a National Leader of the Ophthalmology Account Management Team to guide a field organization focused on late-stage assets. Qualifications

12+ years of pharmaceutical/biotech experience.
7+ years managing direct reports.
5+ years in strategic/key account management.
Ability to influence without authority across cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of buy-and-bill economics and reimbursement dynamics.

Responsibilities

Lead Ophthalmology Account Management Team and National Account Directors.
Shape strategic direction for Ophthalmology franchise.
Provide executive sponsorship for key accounts with C-suite visibility.
Coach and mentor field team to uphold accountability.
Coordinate cross-functional execution across SAMs, BEMs, Field Sales, and Medical.
Drive launch excellence and market shaping through engagement plans.
