Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking a results-driven Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to cover a Florida market. You will develop relationships with eye care professionals, deliver compliant, science-based messages, and drive adoption of Sun Ophthalmics products.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in pharmaceutical or specialty sales, with travel across the territory. A strong communicator with business planning skills will thrive in our performance-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
• Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent.
• Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience in ophthalmology preferred.
• Knowledge of healthcare institutions and managed care is a plus.
• Willingness to travel domestically, including overnight travel.

Responsibilities

• Reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to HCPs.
• Engage in business planning and execution.
• Increase awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, data, safety and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to discuss treatment options with patients.
• Build HCP knowledge to identify treatment gaps.
• Meet call activity and financial targets for the territory.
