Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics seeks a dynamic regional sales professional to lead education-based outreach to healthcare providers within a defined territory. You will deliver scientific, MLR-approved messages about ophthalmic products and disease states, while building trusted relationships with key HCPs.

The role requires 2+ years in pharmaceutical sales (ophthalmic preferred), strong communication, and domestic travel. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a focus on science being advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; preferably in a scientific field.
• Two+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent.
• Two+ years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Experience selling within healthcare institutions preferred.
• Eye care/ophthalmology experience preferred.
• Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel, majority of time in market.

Responsibilities

• Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR-approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to target HCPs.
• Engage in business planning and execution.
• Increase awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety, and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations with patients.
• Identify treatment gaps and educate providers on care options.
• Meet call activity and financial targets for the territory.
