Job summary
Sun Ophthalmics, part of Sun Pharmaceutical Industries, Inc (USA), seeks an Account Manager for the ophthalmics portfolio in California with a remote work setup. You will build relationships with target HCPs, deliver education-focused messages, and support clinical data discussions.
The role reports to the Regional Sales Manager, requires travel, and offers a base salary range plus bonus and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
- Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience or equivalent are preferred.
- Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience or equivalent, preferably in ophthalmology.
- Demonstrated knowledge of healthcare institutions and commercial managed care; experience selling within healthcare institutions preferred.
- Eye Care/Ophthalmology experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with target HCPs.
- Deliver ML R approved, education-focused messages, as well as the assigned therapeutic area disease-state information to target HCPs.
- Business planning and execution.
- Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety, and efficacy.
- Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate robust conversations with patients.
