Job summary

Sun Ophthalmics is seeking a field-enabled sales professional to build and maintain strong relationships with ophthalmology healthcare professionals. You will deliver education-focused, MLR-approved messages and disease-state information, drive business planning, and enhance product awareness in your territory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in a scientific field.
• Two or more years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Two or more years of specialty pharmaceutical experience, preferably in ophthalmology.
• Knowledge of healthcare institutions and managed care; healthcare sales experience preferred.
• Willingness to travel domestically, majority in-market.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with target HCPs.
• Deliver MLR approved, education-focused messages and disease-state information to target HCPs.
• Business planning and execution.
• Enhance HCP awareness of Sun Ophthalmics products, clinical data, safety, and efficacy.
• Equip HCPs with tools to facilitate conversations and educate patients.
• Build HCP knowledge and confidence in identifying treatment gaps.
• Increase awareness of the therapeutic area and help HCP identify treatment gaps in diagnosed patients.
• Meet call activity, adherence targets and financial goals for the territory.
