Job summary

EssilorLuxottica’s LensCrafters in the United States seeks an Ophthalmic Technician to support patient care and eye examinations. You will help manage patient flow, collect histories, perform refractions and special tests, and assist practitioners with imaging and measurements.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• 1+ year of strong customer service skills (internal/external).

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams and manage patient records.
• Perform preliminary evaluations including histories, refractions, pachymetry and tonometry.
• Conduct tests like OCTs, biometry, topography and retinal imaging.
• Explain measurements to patients and resolve concerns promptly.
• Maintain HIPAA-compliant records and stay organized.
