Job summary

Midwest Vision Partners is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to greet patients, gather information, and perform diagnostic tests in a clinic setting. You will enter data into the EMR, explain appointment expectations, and assist with minor procedures under physician supervision.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Experience with EMR and knowledge of medical terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect information for EMR entry.
• Explain appointments and expectations to patients.
• Record medical history, chief complaint and present illness.
• Perform diagnostic eye tests and assist in procedures under supervision.
• Maintain patient records and HIPAA privacy.
