Midwest Vision Partners, LLC is seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our clinic team. You will greet patients, explain visit expectations, and escort them to exam rooms while performing diagnostic ophthalmic tests under physician supervision.

Responsibilities include entering accurate patient data into EMR, documenting medical history, and assisting with minor procedures. A focus on patient education, confidentiality, and professional demeanor is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge of medical terminology is helpful.
• Entry level with 0–3 years of experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet and prepare patients for ophthalmic exam.
• Enter patient information into EMR accurately and timely.
• Perform basic ophthalmic tests (visual acuity, tonometry, lensometry) as directed by physicians.
• Assist with minor procedures and post-procedure care.
• Educate patients on medication administration and post-operative instructions.
• Maintain sterile environment and protect patient confidentiality per HIPAA.
