Qualifications

• High School graduation or equivalent required.
• 2+ years’ experience in optometry or healthcare setting.
• Knowledge of optical and medical terminology and equipment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Preferred: optometric technician certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care and eye exams, manage records and flow.
• Perform tests for vision examinations (acuity, depth/color perception, imaging).
• Review prescriptions and patient information; coordinate with staff.
• Handle patient interactions and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain equipment hygiene and support pre-exam testing.
• Support contact lens exams and orders; operate POS when needed.
• Work weekends/evenings as required by location.
