American Vision Partners seeks a Surgery Counselor to guide patients through the surgical process and ensure a smooth, high-quality experience. You will schedule surgeries and pre-operative appointments, verify insurance, and prepare charts to support the surgical team.

The role requires strong attention to detail, multi-tasking in a fast-paced setting, and excellent communication skills to educate patients about lens options and payment plans.

Formación

• High school diploma or GED required; some college preferred.
• Demonstrated sales skills and the drive to exceed goals and quotas.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

Responsabilidades

• Schedules all patient surgeries and pre-operative appointments with referring physicians, surgical facilities, ophthalmologists, or technicians.
• Educates patients about lens options and technology, overcomes objections and closes surgical packages.
• Prepares surgical charts and labels documents per ASC Coordinator specifications.
• Serves as liaison between patient, surgeon, referring physician, and surgical facility in pre-operative steps.
• Collects booking details, lens orders, insurance, and consent forms; transfers to surgical facility.
• Aids patients in obtaining financing or payment plans as needed.
• Schedules post-operative appointments and ensures smooth patient flow.
• Communicates the company’s services clearly to earn patient trust and business.
• Answers patient, family, and referring physician inquiries regarding surgery.
• Performs other tasks as assigned.
