Job summary

Bausch + Lomb seeks an Ocular Specialty Representative to join our Pharma team in the Hackensack, NJ region. This remote field-based role covers ophthalmology and optometry markets, requiring 25–50% travel and a proven track record in specialty pharmaceutical sales.

You will build relationships with clinicians, develop territory plans, monitor access and coverage, and drive growth while representing a global leader in eye health. Strong communication, CRM skills, and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Specialty pharmaceutical sales experience.
• Ability to identify and address customer needs and drive sales growth.
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
• Excellent written, verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with MS Office 365 and Salesforce or other CRM.
• Willingness to travel 25–50% and reside in territory.

Responsibilities

• Develop territory business plans using home office direction.
• Drive territory performance through growth in prescriptions and market share.
• Monitor managed care coverage and communicate with health care providers.
• Apply clinical selling techniques to demonstrate product value for patients.
• Manage promotional budget and allocate expenditures within plan.
• Visit ophthalmologists/optometrists per call plan and assess opportunity.
