Job summary

Retina Consultants of Texas seeks an Ophthalmic Scribe to join our team in The Woodlands. This role involves accurate patient charting, including ICD-10 coding and recommendations while ensuring smooth patient flow.

The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma, at least 6 months of medical office experience, and strong interpersonal skills, with certification preferred. We offer competitive pay at $20.00+ per hour with eligibility for overtime.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a medical office, preferably ophthalmology.
• Scribe certification preferred.
• Fluency in English, with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Summarize and document patient examinations accurately.
• Perform precise CPT and ICD-10 coding.
• Assist physicians and patients throughout exams.
• Maintain patient flow and awareness of patient needs.
